Practice Cancellations

Practices can be cancelled either by the Loudoun County PRCS (Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services) or by your team's coach.

For the latest field cancellations, contact the Loudoun Sports Line at (703) 777-0456.  The recorded message specify whether your practice field has been closed.

Coaches typically work out an individual team policy regarding practice cancellations.

SPRING Game Cancellations

The NVYLL does not universally cancel games... it is dependent on the home team to decide whether their field(s) are playable.  Reference either

to see if your game has been cancelled.  If your game has been cancelled, there will be a Line through your game on the schedule.  In many cases, your coach will contact you via email.  Leverage these integrated schedules as your primary point of information.

Example: Note at the bottom of this sample NVYLL Master Schedule, the games at Brambleton were cancelled on this date.

How Early Should I Arrive for the Game?

Each team will have its own policy.  As a general rule, plan on being dressed, ready to go 30 minutes prior to game time.  This allows for ample stretching and warm-ups, as well as allows the coach to work out lineups.
